Ну это не очень связано. Тут автор (МТ) почти не комментирует, а только передаёт то, что видел и слышал. В Сенате же в основном высказывают мнение.

Он предвзятый. Но не идиот и не напыщенный. Кстати, в отношении русских солдат он отзывается положительно. Больше всего его напугали проводницы.
