What do you mean by analysis? Did you observed the phenomenon yourself, were puzzled by it and in a need of a clarifying theory? Or this is a theory analyzing another theories?

Frankly, I don't care about either party. And I certainly would not want to see one party become too powerful, whether at the expense of the other or for some other reason.

I don't think either party is perfect, but one party is (much) less perfect than the other.
