Using the example of the alleged Israeli abuse of Palestinians as discussed in Rabin Academy and then widely reported.

I wonder. Is it really the difference between UK and US or just a coincidence?

Most of the British press is terribly pro-Palestinian, so that's not just a coincidence. You can have a more balanced analysis in the Times, but the Guardian (and often the BBC) are just mad. It's not about the Muslim community in the UK, the roots are in "the British love for the underdog", so they by default support "the oppressed nation" (which is ironic given the historical background, but on the other hand this background only helps people to feel self-righteous now) - Palestineans, Georians etc. (Israel is the overdog because it is supported by the US, South Ossetia - obviously by Russia)

Nothing changed in 25 years :)
