Ubuntu 10.04 netbook remix

Took about half an hour.

Then initialized Verizon broadband (for the EVDO card), launched automatic upgrades, added a Russian keyboard, installed Emacs and so on. Still less than an hour (about 50 minutes).

Not bad. What did I miss?
