This makes me laugh more than you can imagine. A few weeks ago, David's brother and his wife named their newborn son Noam Shalom and I kept saying we should get them a garden gnome to commemorate the birth. The only other Noam I know is Noam Chomsky and that's how he pronounces it, but this little guy will be No-Am (like Noah but ending in an m).

Oh well. David's siblings are incapable of giving their kids normal names.
