По городу ездит автобус, раскрашенный под корову. На фотографии парнишка снимает с него свой велосипед.



Осенний вид с горы (Haystack Mountain, т.е. гора Стогсена), причём с той стороны склона, где стоят горнолыжные подъёмники.



Нудистский пляж на берегу водохранилища в речке, которая впадает в приток реки Коннектикут. Не фотографировал.

Oh, where do you ski?

We used to ski in Craftsbury, but cannot go there anymore (the problem is with us, not them). We like x/c places that are away from downhill crowds.

I have only had one season in Massachusetts and missed it. Down in Maryland, one could go west to the Deep Creek Lake, there are some nice trails there. I did hear about nice trails in Massachusetts (or New Hampshire), let's see if I can find anything in my email archive.

Thanks, I think, I know pretty much about MA and southern NH trails, and will be happy to share what I know, but the snow is not too reliable here. I'm trying to find a place to ski for the X-mas vacation. Maybe we will go to Canada.

Craftsbury is good and reliable, but the package includes meals that are not kosher enough for some of us.
