Good; you vote for Cthulhu, I vote for McCain. :-)
Saturday, May 31st, 2008 12:15 am (UTC)
Saturday, May 31st, 2008 12:17 am (UTC)
Saturday, May 31st, 2008 12:23 am (UTC)

Obama sees dead people:

On this Memorial Day, as our nation honors its unbroken line of fallen heroes — and I see many of them in the audience here today — our sense of patriotism is particularly strong.

Saturday, May 31st, 2008 12:31 am (UTC)

Frankly, abortions are a fuckload more important to me than Iraq. So is the theory of evolution, gay marriage and all sorts of other things on which I'd never want to hear McCain's opinion, much less be stuck living by it.
Saturday, May 31st, 2008 01:32 am (UTC)
If you don't want to hear his opinion, it means it is not really important to you (and why would it be, POTUS is an executive position, not legislative). War is another matter.
Saturday, May 31st, 2008 06:08 pm (UTC)
It would be, because the president gets to decide whether, for instance, federal money goes to support birth control.

Yes, the division of powers is not absolute. Still, there are priorities.
Monday, June 2nd, 2008 03:23 am (UTC)
I mentioned priorities in my last reply :) Abortions come before Iraq. Actually, anything inside the country comes before anything outside it.
Monday, June 2nd, 2008 05:37 am (UTC)
Yes, I understand it. Of course, sometimes it is not easy to distinguish the two (wars seem to happen outside, whereas 9/11 happened inside). However, I am not here to argue.
