Firefox does not know the word "sceptical" and underlines it in red. "Sceptic" too, btw. It knows skeptic and skeptical, though.

They say:
Some people, however, do try to make a distinction between the two spellings as if they have different meanings: they do not.
So Firefox is a person now; I did not realize. :-)

Two paragraphs later, they themselves make a distinction, mostly between the -ic and -ical, but c/k too:
To be "a Skeptic" means that the person adheres to the method of scientific skepticism. This is different to being "sceptical" which means to be doubtful.
I would not use the red color in either case.
