Leatherman: how to fix

The corkscrew in my Leatherman Flair multitool broke. The screw itself broke apart (and was thrown away).

I want to keep the tool but replace the corkscrew. Any hints as to how to better have it done? I would need a replacement corkscrew, a way to remove the small piece of the old one still attached to the tool, and then reattach the new one.

Leatherman customer service rep told me they could (perhaps) replace it, most likely with a different model. I want to keep mine.
