No, people are simply afraid of the Eastern portions of Russia being overrun by Chinese. They do not see that the Russians have a strong absobring power, and a large majority of the Chinese would simply become Russians (in the second and third generations), unless, of course, the Russians start following Europeans and keep apart from the Chinese, which might happen. In that latter case it would be the Russians' fault should the territory become Chinese.
