It was a forecast for the weather in Bartlett, NH. We went there to celebrate L.P.'s birthday.

On the way, I hit a deer er... a deer hit me I fought with a deer and won! I killed it with my car. He is dead, and my car is not. Now I am going to help a few car mechanics to put bread on the table.

Everybody needs to put bread on the table. It's a metaphoric way of describing earning one's share of goods and stuff. (Good and stuffs?)
