It's not about elections. It's about the Jewish organizations. Frankly, I feel a bit of shame, even though I am not a member of any.

Update. More reading for you from Jerusalem Post, this time from a Republicans-related organization. I am not a Republican overall, but in this respect I feel a lot of affinity.

выборы президента сша - внутренние американские выборы. еврейские организации сша традиционно голосуют за демократов. a woman's right to choose - один из центральных вопросов всех президентских кампаний последних 20 лет. иран - not so much (по разным прочинам).

еврейским организациям сша очень важно иметь поддержку евреев сша.

поставьте это на одну чашу весов, а сару палин вместе с катеринок глюк - на другую. и посмотрите на сухой остаток.
более того, идея о том, что без америки израиль не в состоянии себя защитить просто абсурдна.

Если кому-то на Израиль плевать, то он и не пойдёт на такую демонстрацию. Я полагаю, что тем, кто демонстрацию организовывал, не плевать.

Что же касается поддержки евреями еврейских организаций, то эти от меня поддержки не получат. Я лучше пошлю свои деньги Хабаду, хотя и нахожусь от него на противоположном конце спектра религиозности.

The peace process is a sham; the issue of the talks with Syria is different, however. There is someone there to talk to, at least.
